DESCRIPTION
The CASV-14 improved rail system for the M14/M1A is lighter, slimmer and more versatile than a standard GI handguard and offers a solid platform for mounting optics and accessories to your rifle.
The CASV-14 is only produced in the highly requested extended length version, which extends all the way back to the stripper clip guide for additional stability.

- Semi free-float handguard (from the Operating Rod Guide forward, the handguard does not contact the barrel)
- Multiple mounting points for Picatinny rails
- Ambidextrous QD sling swivel mounting points in two locations
- Compatible with the M14/M1A Improved Modstock and most GI Spec wood and fiberglass stocks
- Three solid mounting points at the stripper clip guide, barrel shoulder, and around the operating rod guide
NOTE: The CASV-14 handguard will fit most M1A/M14’s with standard GI contour barrels. Out of the box, the CASV-14 WILL NOT fit medium contour, heavy contour or National Match contour barrels or M21/M25 type rifles, etc.
NOTE: The CASV-14 is compatible with most GI Spec wood and fiberglass stocks with the exception of the Archangel stock system. Your GI Spec stock may require some fitting due to the slight variations in inletting.
