The VLTOR VIS-KM12 Polylithic Upper is the closest thing you can get to the upper that was used on the M16A5 concept submission for the US Marine Corps. The KM12 is a polylithic upper, where the upper and handguard are physically fused together, creating a rigid, one piece system. The upper features keymod slots to mount your preferred accessories, and a standard 1913 rail up top for optics and other accessories. The bottom of the VIS is removable and allows the user to install a standard AR-15 barrel and also allows for the installation of an M203 Launcher.
